Technical Overview of StrataMatic

Cheque Printing
Regular - StrataMatic prints the cheque detail (date, payee, amount etc) onto a preprinted cheque and remittance advice. Formats available for all major banks.

MICR - StrataMatic prints the suppliers’ cheques including the MICR encoding on the cheque - this MICR encoding requires magnetic toner cartridges.

Direct Supplier Payments
As an automatic by-product of producing the suppliers remittance advice StrataMatic can create a bank ABA file for importing into your banking software. This will then debit the buildings bank account and credit your suppliers’ bank account. This is not only the best way to pay suppliers but it is also the easiest system to implement. The bank details of the suppliers need only be entered once, thereafter payments are automatic.

Direct Supplier Payments for Management Fees
This enables Management Fees only to be taken on a monthly or quarterly basis, by creating the ABA file, without the need for printing a large number of cheques to your own company. This can be upgraded at any time in the future, for the price difference, to also pay all suppliers.

Direct Deposits
MICR - StrataMatic can print the levy notices with the MICR encoding so that payments that can then be made by the owners into any branch of the appropriate bank. Bank formats available now are: National Australia, Westpac, Commonwealth, Bank of Bendigo, St George and ANZ.

DEFT - StrataMatic prints the levy notices so that they are compatible with the Macquarie Bank allowing payments to be made at any Post Office, over the Internet, phone or by mail.

BPay - StrataMatic will print the BPay logo, the biller code, the owner reference number on the levy notice that will allow owners to make payments by using their financial institution's Internet banking site or with one call to their phone banking service.

Post Billpay - StrataMatic will print the APO logo, the appropriate bar code, the billpay code, the owner reference number on the levy notice that will allow owners to make payments at any Post Office, or with credit or debit card by phone or via www.postbillpay.com.au

AUTO Receipting (Bank Statement Download)
This module can download all credits, payments and charges direct from your bank account/s into StrataMatic and then automatically tick the transactions as being presented within the bank reconciliation program. At the same time, all credit transactions are credited to the appropriate owners account. Any bank charges or interest received detected in the download will be automatically credited to the appropriate bank fees or interest received accounts. Bank formats available now are: Macquarie, National Australia, Commonwealth, ANZ and Westpac.

Administration Cost Import Module
This module enables the importing of costs from photocopiers and digital telephone systems. For example, interfaces for Copy Guard and Auditron are currently working at StrataMatic sites. You can also use this function to import charge data from Excel. Alternative products will be concidered and quoted upon if required

EBill
No longer do you have to open envelopes and manually process power bills. EBill enables a CSV file to be downloaded into StrataMatic and process the buildings power bills with ease. (Only available in Victoria)

Email
The Email module enables firms to email from various areas of the program directly to lot owners and suppliers. Further work is also being undertaken to increase the future functionality of this module. At this stage an email can be completed from the lot owners card, suppliers card, suppliers from building card areas, such as Insurance Tab and General Tab. Emails can also be sent from the Work Orders area and Draw Payments section for remittance advices

Strata Monitor
Stratamatic provide a facility for an import from Strata Monitor. They check the information with insurance companies, Commonwealth departments, where appropriate, the Office of Fair Trading and other relevant responsible authorities for verification. This is generally by mail and phone calls over a six to eight week period, and then is on-going as required.

WebLink & Webpage Software

Weblink - In addition to providing StrataMatic as an “in-house” strata software package, Aussie Made Software has developed the WebLink software to store owner’s details “online”. This means that you have the security of holding all your important accounting data in your own office and fully under your control using StrataMatic and yet still able to offer owners, after hours information that is right up to date, over the world wide web. StrataMatic will upload to WebLink only those owners who want to avail themselves of this service. It allows the upload of selected lot details to your home page area, allowing authorised owners to access their account information and to optionally alter contact details securely, saving you time and also providing you with a valuable marketing tool to secure new buildings instructions. The body corporate or strata plan does not pay anything at all toward the cost of this service. Owners pay if they want the service.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WEBLINK OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH OUR ISP DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES EXPERIENCED IN THE PAST.

WebPage - If you don’t have a WWW presence as yet, then Aussie Made Software can develop a web site for you. We have standard templates to work from that will give up to 7 pages.
